Brief Review

After discovering a Yeti, a teenager and her friends go on a journey to return it to the Himalayas. The most helpful description of this Abominable is that it is definitely geared towards younger children. While I generally am a big fan of most children movies, this one isn’t necessarily anything special. It’s not that it’s a bad movie, I did enjoy it at times and it was definitely cute (the Yeti is adorable). However, there wasn’t a lot for adults and it just felt very young. I think if I was 10 or younger (unfortunately I’m not anymore…) then I would have enjoyed this movie a lot more. Abominable is cute and there are some pretty scenes to watch, but overall I would really only recommend this movie for younger children. There are plenty of other good family movies that would be enjoyable for a wider range of ages.
