Brief Review
A true story about WWE wrestler Paige’s life growing up in a wrestling family, her relationship with her family and her journey to the WWE. I know a lot of people will be hesitant to watch this because it is about WWE wrestling, however the wrestling is just the vehicle to tell the story… and it is a good story. The movie is very well done and I really enjoyed it. It is one of those movies that you would skip right past unless someone recommended it to you, so here I am recommending it to you. It’s an emotional underdog story that is much more about fighting for your dreams than it is about wrestling. There isn’t actually a ton of wrestling in it, so don’t let that hang you up. The movie is half comedy and half emotional drama, and it does both of them well. It will make you laugh and it might even make you cry, but by the end, it will have you inspired. Obviously it helps if you ever enjoyed watching the WWE, but I think it has a much wider reach beyond that. Overall I think this is definitely worth a watch. Give this one a chance, it deserves it.
