Brief Review
A sequel to the very popular original, Deadpool is not a normal superhero, so don’t expect a normal superhero movie. This movie does everything to the excess. It’s raunchy, gory, and over-the-top, but that is the point of it. It is not for a lot of people and it does not try to appeal to everyone. The plot of the story is serviceable, but that is not why you watch this movie. This movie serves solely to entertain and it does so through sarcastic and raunchy comedy, coupled with strong action scenes. And it delivers on these promises very well. If you have seen the first one and enjoyed it, this movie is on par with the first. If you have never seen the first one, go in knowing how over-the-top the movie is and you should enjoy it. I really enjoyed this movie, I thought it was very funny and a very fun watch. I realize it is not for everyone, so consider yourself warned.
