Brief Review
A biography about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, her rise to the Supreme Court and her legacy. This is a pretty solid documentary about a person who not only has an interesting story, but one who has really taken on a new role in recent years. Most people probably aren’t very familiar with Supreme Court justices, yet somehow she has become a national star (there were 2 movies made about her in 2018 alone). The documentary touches on her struggles to make it as a female lawyer and her subsequent rise to the Supreme Court, but really focuses on how hardworking she is and how much she fights for what she believes in. She really is a pretty interesting figure. The only reason this doesn’t get a higher rating from me is because I’m just inherently less interested in a Supreme Court justice, but this is a well done documentary and I am happy I watched it. Fans of hers, politics, or the government in general will enjoy this one.
