Brief Review
Simply put, this movie is a typical Liam Neeson movie. If you are a fan of his other movies than The Commuter will keep you entertained. Liam Neeson plays an ex-cop turned insurance salesman who is forced to find “someone who doesn’t belong” on his daily commuter train. The plot overall is a generic one, however there are a few twists that do make it more interesting. There are definitely plot holes and the movie isn’t the most believable, but this isn’t a movie that you watch for incredible storytelling. Where this movie does excel, is that it is an exciting and fast paced film. At its heart it is an action movie that definitely has some white knuckle moments to it. So while this movie definitely could have been better, if you’re looking for an exciting movie, or you’re a fan of Liam Neeson, this movie will entertain you.
