Brief Review
In ancient Polynesia, a teenage girl journeys across the sea in order to save her village from an ancient curse. While Moana may not be quite on the level of Frozen, it is definitely the closest comparison. Much like Frozen, the music is what really separates Moana from other animated movies. It has one of the best soundtracks in any Disney movie… probably even any movie. As a whole, the movie is very upbeat and it just makes you happy while watching it. There are plenty of laughs, very cute characters and music that makes you want to sing. The story is good but it isn’t amazing. Even without a great story, there is something about this movie that I just really enjoy every time I watch it. Overall this is one that kids and adults will definitely enjoy.
