Brief Review
A young science prodigy uses his abilities to turn his friends into a group of superheroes to protect their city. I feel like Big Hero 6 is totally underrated! It’s a high energy, fast-paced, animated movie about superheroes. It’s just a lot of fun! And then on top of it, Big Hero 6 has one of the more adorable characters in any movie. Baymax is absolutely the star of this movie. I mean how could you not love a giant, cuddly, marshmallow looking nurse? Then on top of the fast-paced energy and Baymax, this movie also has a lot of touching and emotional moments! It deals a lot with loss and relying on others and can be very touching at times. The story is pretty good, but nothing to write home about. At the very least it keeps you interested and definitely doesn’t take away from the movie at all. The best part of this movie is that it is an enjoyable movie for both kids and adults. It is definitely better for kids but it is enjoyable as an adult. Overall this is a very good animated movie and one that I think too often gets overlooked.
