Brief Review
A princess goes on a journey to bring back her magical sister, Queen of the kingdom, in order to end an endless winter. Frozen was a generational movie that seemingly everyone with a kid and even everyone without a kid saw. It was a total cultural phenomenon. Now with that being said, I write movie reviews, so here I go. I do really like this movie. Frozen is an upbeat and positive movie that just makes you happy while watching it. Easily the best part of the movie is the soundtrack, so if you don’t like musicals this might not be for you. Sure everyone knows Let It Go because it was played all day, every day, forever, but that was only one of nearly 10 good songs in the movie. Nearly every song is a good song. And when they are not singing, the movie can be pretty funny. Olaf (the snowman) alone makes this a funny movie. The plot is fine, but it isn’t great. At the very least it is fun and upbeat. The movie makes an interesting choice by not really having a villain which makes the movie never really have much tension. Otherwise I don’t really have a lot bad to say about this one. If you somehow are the one person who has never seen this movie, it is worth a watch. At the very least you will want to listen to the soundtrack again.
