Brief Review
A bomb squad in Iraq must learn to work with their talented but risk-taking bomb diffuser who seemingly thrives on war. While it is definitely overly dramatized, this is a very good movie and the only thing that makes me hesitate from calling it great is that it can be kind of slow at times. Some of the scenes can feel overly drawn out at times. Otherwise this is a very tense war movie that often has you holding your breath in anticipation as they work to diffuse bombs. There is some violence and action, but this isn’t a traditional war movie. It isn’t really made to be an action movie, it is more of a tense drama. It also explores the mental toll that war takes on most people, while on the other hand contrasting it with someone who thrives on it. Overall this is a very good and interesting movie, that will have you holding your breath and sweating in anticipation.
